His diverse career began as a government contractor, where he collaborated with multiple federal agencies on specialized missions-overseeing everything from security protocol development and personnel training to mission-critical logistics under pressure. This role honed his talent for strategic risk assessment, stakeholder coordination, and decisive leadership.

Later, Matthew transitioned into executive protection, safeguarding one of the world’s wealthiest individuals across both domestic and international engagements. In that capacity, he developed bespoke security frameworks, managed complex global logistics, and mitigated threats in volatile environments-always ensuring his principal’s freedom, privacy, and peace of mind.

Today, as CEO of Reaper Force Group, Matthew brings his depth of experience to building a team grounded in elite discipline and unwavering ethics. He leads with a philosophy that blends thorough preparation with proactive vigilance. POVAS MIKNAITIS

Director of Tactical Operations

Povas Miknaitis is a highly decorated former U.S. Marine Corps Scout Sniper who brings over a decade of elite tactical experience to Reaper Force Group. Serving from 2006 to 2012, he completed multiple combat deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan, where he demonstrated extraordinary resilience and leadership under fire. During his deployment in Afghanistan, Povas survived a devastating explosion while rendering lifesaving aid to his injured teammates-an act that reflects his unwavering dedication to mission and team.

Following his service, Povas played a key role in veteran recovery and reintegration initiatives, contributing to the development of Warrior Foundation’s Freedom Station-a transitional housing and support center for injured veterans. His work as a mentor and property manager there exemplifies his commitment to service beyond the battlefield.

Povas was recognized as San Diego County Veteran of the Year in 2019-2020 and continues to be a strong advocate for veteran support programs.
